These efforts have changed the fabric of our local community, offering support, encouragement, and vital resources for kids and special needs children in Georgetown.
My mothers dedication to service is clear in her work with local schools. She spent countless hours mentoring and guiding young minds, ensuring that every child—regardless of their background or abilities—had the opportunity to flourish. My mothers approach seamlessly blends education with creative expression, using music as a powerful, universal language that connects and empowers. Under her direction, Music on the Divide blossomed into a vibrant movement, celebrating artistic talent while building lasting bonds within the community.
But Music on the Divide is not merely about creating beautiful melodies—it’s about connecting people, inspiring hope, and sparking change. Through community concerts, collaborative projects, and inclusive events, this initiative reflects Georgetown’s true spirit of unity and diversity. At the heart of this movement is the Divide Women’s Group, fostering a nurturing environment where voices are heard, ideas flourish, and transformative change takes place. Every now and then, you meet someone in the industry who just gets it. Someone who shares your struggles, your frustrations, your drive, and—most importantly—your passion. For me, that person is Sean P. McKenna.
Sean and I were introduced by my publicist, Raquel Figlo, a powerhouse in the OC rock scene. When we connected, I quickly realized that Sean and I were cut from the same cloth. We’ve both been involved in entertainment for years, promoting and managing artists while telling great stories. But beyond that, we share something unique: we both took a step back from the industry, disillusioned by its challenges, only to return with a renewed purpose and a refined vision.
Stepping away from something you love is never easy. Like Sean, I needed time away to reassess my path. For me, that break was about soul-searching and finding the strength to rebuild GonnaHappen—an idea I had once felt had failed. For Sean, it was about rediscovering his love for music and helping musicians navigate an industry that often undervalues their artistry.
Through his podcast, Rimshots with Sean, and his platform, Barstools and BandTalk, Sean has created a space where artists can truly take charge of their careers. He understands that many musicians just want to create and perform—business and media are often afterthoughts. I was born in Monterey, CA & grow up in Georgetown, ca & has lived in various towns in the west for his career. I have worked in 3 major industries produce & food distributions, real estate industry & the entertainment industry, with my 15 years of combined business experience. The first 9 of my life were spent working a three major & well known produce a food distribution companies, Mann Packing, Aramark management & distribution & US Food Serves. The experience consisted of Sale, inspection of produce, procurement, transportation, employee management, new business & product development & vendor negotiations.
I worke in escrow for Stewart Title, a lending company, real estate independent notary signer in 2 states. My experience finally leads me to work as an independent sales & public relations manager for Paris Hilton Footwear, JLP Tequila, Runway Magazine and others. I've been involved in numerous events, plus has a number of management, agents, musical artists, athletic & celebrity contacts. I have also added a career path becoming the CO-Founder & Director of Events for Farmstotable.org.
