Actors Workshop Studios – San Diego Film & TV Acting ClassesReview by Aaron G. Beebe | Founder of GONNA HAPPEN

🎬🎭 Actors Workshop Studios – San Diego Film & TV Acting Classes

Review by Aaron G. Beebe | Founder of GONNAHAPPEN

I recently had the opportunity to visit Actors Workshop Studios – San Diego Film & TV Acting Classes after my longtime friend Rob Dey invited me down to help run cameras during an actor showcase of his student for a local San Diego Agency with student - Q & A with the Agent.

Rob and I have known each other for many years and have crossed paths throughout the entertainment industry. While my background has focused on media, public relations, branding, promotions, clothing, artist management, and event production, Rob has dedicated much of his career and life to acting, coaching, and helping performers develop their craft. Throughout the years, he has remained not only a talented teacher but also a great friend.

One of the reasons I wanted to spend time at Actors Workshop Studios was to learn more about acting, on-camera communication, and presentation skills. As someone building a Brand called GONNAHAPPEN with 2 registered Word Marks for apparel, I spend a great deal of time writing articles, covering events, creating content, networking, and promoting projects and more. Ironically, speaking directly into a camera for videos, social media, influencer marketing, and brand promotion can sometimes feel more challenging than speaking in front of a crowd. It is very overwhelm and weird for me personally.

Watching the students work through scenes, auditions, coaching sessions, and showcase performances and Q and A with the Owner of the Agency. It gave me a greater appreciation for the confidence, discipline, and training required to become comfortable and authentic on camera.

I was especially impressed by the positive and supportive environment Rob has created. The students appeared engaged, motivated, and eager to improve and support each other. It was clear the studio focuses not only on acting techniques but also on helping performers build confidence and prepare for real-world industry opportunities.

The experience reinforced how valuable acting and presentation skills can be—not just for actors, but for entrepreneurs, content creators, influencers, business owners, sales professionals, and anyone building a personal brand. The ability to connect with an audience through a camera has become an essential skill in today's digital world.

As I continue growing GONNAHAPPEN, expanding media opportunities, and pursuing licensing, marketing, and influencer partnerships, I can see how the skills taught at Actors Workshop Studios can benefit far more than aspiring actors alone.

Even though I live in Las Vegas, this visit gave me valuable insight into quality acting instruction while allowing me to meet talented performers, observe an industry showcase, and better understand the challenges actors face as they pursue their careers. Not sure I can commute to San Diego for classes but I will be taking some...

One of the biggest things I took away from this experience was realizing how much I still want to learn. As I continue building the GONNAHAPPEN brand, I'd like to become more comfortable speaking on camera, creating video content, conducting interviews, and learning professional self-taping techniques for social media, influencer marketing, branding and brand storytelling done by me... There no better way to learn to talk to camera lense or phone 🤳🏽

I will always support Rob, his students, and Actors Workshop Studios. Whether you're preparing for auditions, friendship, looking to improve your confidence on camera, developing presentation skills, or simply wanting to become a more effective communicator, this is an excellent place to learn, grow, and challenge yourself. So this drop in review was what I needed.

Thank you again, Rob, for the invitation and for allowing me to be part of the experience. Your an amazing teacher and great friend.
